In April 2025, a link was added to the 7-Minute Briefing on Bruising, marks and injuries in mobile children in Safeguarding Practice Guidance in Local Resources.
Bruising, Marks, or Injury of Concern in Mobile Children - this guidance outlines patterns of bruising, marks or injury that could be indicative of physical abuse to any mobile child and the practitioner response to presentations suggestive of non- accidental injury.
Note: there is a separate procedure for Bruising, Marks, or Injury of Concern in Pre-Mobile Babies and Non-Independently Mobile Children.
